The Rehabilitation Programmes offer a holistic approach to the development and support of children and adults living with disabilities. Objectives
• To assist children and adults living with disabilities to achieve a better quality of life;
• The Programme providing inpatient services allow children from birth to the age of eighteen (18) years to thrive and grow spiritually, physically, socially and intellectually;
• To prevent escalation from the original impairment to a serious disability or handicap;
• To involve parents and families in the rehabilitation of children with disabilities so that they can understand the needs and potential of their children better;
• To provide orthopaedic and various therapeutic services to clients at the national, district and the community level;
• To provide integrated education through equal access to formal and informal education for children with disabilities;
• To advocate for people with disabilities to motivate the government and other policy makers to incorporate early intervention programmes into the framework of formal education or rehabilitation services.
