The Commissioner-General of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), Mr. Anthony Kwasi Sarpong, alongside GRA’s Customs Commissioner, Brigadier General Glover Ashong Annan, and Commissioner SSD, Hon. Dr. Alex Adomako-Mensah, hosted Felix Gomis, Managing Director of Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Ghana The Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Ghana Limited , for a friendly visit. The meeting was aimed at discussing a partnership to curb the smuggling of Coca-Cola products into Ghana.

The Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) on Friday graduated 203 officer cadets who completed 12 months of intensive paramilitary training, practical internships, and insightful academic work. This new set of Customs Senior Officers is equipped to contribute significantly to the revenue mobilization drive.

Finance Minister, Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson paid a visit to the Ghana Revenue Authority to introduce the new Commissioner-General, Mr. Anthony Kwasi Sarpong, to the Commissioners and Top Management. He was accompanied by Mr. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey; General Secretary of the NDC and Ms. Eva Esselba Mends; Chief Director of the Ministry of Finance.

The Commissioner-General of GRA, Julie Essiam, met with a UK delegation led by Lord Collins, the UK Minister for Africa, and Harriet Thompson , the British High Commissioner to Ghana, to assess the impact of the Exchange of Information program on revenue mobilization since its inception in 2016.
