Our Story

EducationUSA Accra is an Advising Center located in the US Embassy in Accra. We are here to aid those who are interested in pursuing academics in the United States, for both undergraduate and graduate studies. This center is a part of the EducationUSA network of advising centers affiliated with the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.

EducationUSA provides an array of services to the public. This includes, but is not limited to Undergraduate Information Sessions, Graduate Information Sessions, Individual Advising (in-person or virtually), EducationUSA Advising Library, and Pre-departure Orientation Sessions.

Regularly occurring services at the EducationUSA Advising Center are:

- Undergraduate Information Session
Every Monday (excluding Ghanaian and US holidays) at 2 pm (May - December ) First and third Monday (January - April )

- Graduate Information Session
First and Third Wednesday (excluding Ghanaian and US holidays) at 2 pm

- Individual Advising
Every Tuesday, Wedesday, Thursday (excluding Ghanaian and US holidays) from 8-10:30 am
