This will be executed through interviews with local artists and visits to local schools. These visits to local schools will begin to educate youth about their heritage before the main project has even begun. These interviews and school visits will lead up to a tour through the entirety of Ghana. During the tour, the group will collaborate in creating the documentation of the country’s traditional songs and dances through discussions and sessions with local instrumentalists and dancers. While doing so, free concerts will be given at each stop, and donated clothes, food, and medicine will also be distributed. Use of popular artists during each of the steps of the project will create excitement in the youth, encouraging them to learn about their musical heritage.
