On 19th March, officers and schools across Ga West proudly came together to celebrate Heritage Month a beautiful reminder of our rich culture, history, and traditions.
The day was filled with vibrant displays of traditional attire, local foods, music, and cultural expressions that reflect who we are as a people. It was also a meaningful opportunity for students and staff to learn more about our roots, appreciate our diversity, and strengthen our sense of identity.
As we reflect on this celebration, may we continue to preserve our customs, honor our heritage, and pass these values on to future generations.
Happy Heritage Month to all in Ga West! 🇬🇭✨

Last week, the Ga West Municipal Education Directorate proudly commissioned three impactful projects aimed at strengthening education within the municipality. A borehole at Samsam Odumase M/A, constructed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a 6-unit classroom block at Odumase M/A funded by a generous philanthropist, and a 3-unit classroom block at Saint Paul’s Anglican School, Akramaman, also sponsored by a philanthropist, were officially commissioned by the Ga West Municipal Director of Education.
These projects will greatly improve access to clean water and provide a safe, conducive learning environment for our pupils and teachers. Together, we continue to build a stronger foundation for quality education in Ga West Municipality.

🌟GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING WEEK 2026 – SUCCESSFULLY LAUNCHED! 🌟
Yesterday, we officially kicked off our Guidance and Counseling Week Celebration, and it was truly a meaningful start to a week dedicated to empowerment, awareness, and support. 💙
The launch reminded us of the vital role guidance and counseling play in shaping confident, resilient, and purpose driven individuals. Through this celebration, we reaffirm our commitment to creating a safe and supportive school environment where every student feels heard, valued, and understood.
As we continue with the activities lined up for the week, we encourage everyone to actively participate, engage, and take advantage of the opportunities to learn, grow, and connect.
Remember:
✨ You are not alone.
✨ Your feelings are valid.
✨ Your future matters.
Let’s make this week impactful and inspiring for all! 🎉
