A New Era Begins: NBA’s 4th Governing Board Inaugurated

Friday, 3rd October 2025 marked a new chapter for biosafety governance in Ghana as the 4th Governing Board of the National Biosafety Authority (NBA) was officially inaugurated at the MEST Conference Room.

The ceremony began with prayer and a welcome address from the Chief Director of the Ministry. After self-introductions, the Ag. Hon. Minister administered the oath of office and delivered an inspiring inaugural address on the Authority’s mandate to safeguard public health, biodiversity, and national development.

The Board Chairperson responded with a strong commitment to accountability, innovation, and responsible leadership. The ceremony concluded with closing remarks and prayer.

As the Public Relations Office, we are excited to support the 4th Governing Board in advancing a science-led, transparent, and future-ready biosafety regime for Ghana.

A stronger future has officially begun.
