Yesterday’s outreach at Madina Market brought screening, education, and support services directly to the community through the collaborative efforts of Mental Health Authority-Ghana, Psychiatric Association of Ghana (PAG), specialist prescribers, and nurses.

Our mental health is equally as important as our physical health, no matter where we are.
Ghana loses roughly 7% of its annually due to mental health-related issues. The WHO cites untreated depression and anxiety alone cost the global economy over $1 trillion annually in lost productivity.
Every facet of industry requires some thinking. Without a healthy mind, no one can be productive, thereby decreasing overall national and global development.
This May, as we focus on Turning into , let’s place our mental health first. The mind carries the rest of the body. Without it, nobody can function. Let’s prioritize mental health in our workplaces.
