MOTIVATIONAL MESSAGE FOR THE MONTH.

TITLE: WISDOM FOR ENDING THE YEAR.

Academic excellence is overrated! Did I just say that? Oh, yes, I said it. Being top of your class does not necessarily guarantee that you will be at the top of life.

You could graduate as the best student in Finance but it doesn't mean you will make more money than everybody else. The best graduating Law student does not necessarily become the best lawyer.

The fact is life requires more than the ability to understand a concept, memorise it and reproduce it in an exam.

School rewards people for their memory. Life rewards people for their imagination. School rewards caution, life rewards daring. School hails those who live by the rules. Life exalts those who break the rules and set new ones.

So do I mean people shouldn't study hard in school? Oh, no, you should. But don't sacrifice every other thing on the altar of First Class.

Don't limit yourself to the classroom. Do something practical. Take a leadership position. Learn a skill. Start a business and fail. That's a better Entrepreneurship pursuit.

Join or start a club, ministry or that which you believe God is birthing in you. Contest an election and lose. It will teach something Political Science 101 will not teach you.

Attend a seminar/training/workshop or a conference to learn. Read books outside the scope of your course. Go on missions and win a soul for eternal rewards. Do something you believe in!

Think less of becoming an excellent student but think more of becoming an excellent person. Develop yourself continually because that's the best offer you can give yourself and posterity. Make the world your classroom and humble yourself to get the wisdom of the ages because there are so much untapped resources available for your creative prowess.

This Month and even in the new year dare to come out of obscurity, follow the principles that governs life and avail yourself to be helped by the divine. Change the status quo and let your generation be impacted by your existence and am sure you will fulfill purpose by hook or crook.

MOTIVATIONAL MESSAGE FOR THE MONTH.

TITLE: WISDOM FOR MARRIED MEN.

COMPILED BY DR. PHRANCIS KINGSON.

Married men, strictly observe these wisdom to learn how to dwell with your wives.

(1) Don’t ever beat your wife for any reason - Proverbs 19:11; 20:3.

(2) Don’t ever forget that your wife is your greatest asset - Proverbs 12:4; 18:22.

(3) Don’t ever forget to check the level of peace of your wife - Proverbs 27:17.

(4) Don’t associate with men that lack credibility and generational mindset - Proverbs 13:20.

(5) Don’t ever hurt your wife no matter the level of insults passed on you - Colossians 3:19. 1 Peter 2:19-20.

(6) Don’t ever wave off the ideas, advice or suggestions of your wife because of your selfish interest - Proverbs 1:5; 19:20.

(7) Never treat your wife as a servant - Ephessians 5:29.

(8) Never make your wife a negative case study before friends and family - Proverbs 5:18; 21:23.

(9) Never doubt your wife no matter what you know about her past - 1 Corinthians 13:5.

(10) Don’t deny your wife of s*x - 1 Corinthians 7:4-5.

(11) Don’t be careless about the welfare of your home - 1 Timothy 5:8.

(12) Don’t compare your wife with
anyone - 2 Corinthians 10:12.

(13) Never cheat on your wife no matter the condition - Proverbs 6:32; 5:20.

(14) Never cut short the love you
showed to your wife, rather, water it, and nurture it for effective and continuous growth - Ephessians 5:28-29.

(15) Never disregard the effort of your wife, rather appreciate her more and more - Proverbs 31:28b.

(16) Never discuss the weak points of your wife at public opinion polls - Proverbs 5:17.

(17) Don’t call your wife unpleasant names such as pr******te, witch, fruitless
entity, harlot, useless wife,
bastard, rather call her blessed,
precious, capable, beautiful and
virtuous woman, etc. - Colossians 4:6. Proverbs 31:28-29.

(18) Never ever place your
friends, family or work above
your wife.

(19) Don’t be self centered - Ephessians 5:28. Philipians 2:3-4.

(20) Don’t ever cook up plans against your wife because of your lustful desires.

(21) Never set up a family without
having a family vision - Proverbs 29:18. Habakuk 2:2-3.

(22) Never make your wife feel inferior and uneducated before your friends, family, anyone or even you the husband.

(23) Never compare your wife’s attitude with your one time girlfriend’s attitude -
2 Corinthians 10:12.

(24) Don’t be lazy to cater for your wife and family - 1 Timothy 5:8.

(25) Never allow money to be the bond of love in your marriage - 1 Timothy 6:10.

(26) Never allow your parents or family members to dictate the affairs of your home. Remember, the Bible says ‘’therefore shall a man leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife...’’. in Genesis 2:23-24.

(27) Don’t ever let your children come between you and your wife. You married your wife not your children, remember they have their life to live and
when married and gone, only your wife will still be with you, to cook for you, comfort
you, refresh your body, soul and spirit in the bedroom - Matthew 19:6.

(28) Never hide any phone calls, text messages, or password to mailbox from your wife. Transparency is the
ultimate key to continuous trust and confidence in marriage - Romans 12:9-10.

(29) Never owe your wife anything, always give her the very best; best in love, best care, most precious things
and that which belongs to her - Romans 13:8.

(30) Never show a heart of ungratefulness to God and your precious wife, always and always be ever grateful for their presence in your life - Proverbs 31:28b.

Life isn't fair, but it's still good. The amazing thing about life is that it only delivers to you what you fight for.

When in doubt, just take the next small step. Don't refuse to take calculated risks because of the uncertainty.

Life is too short so enjoy it in the ways of God. The shortness of life demands that you live your best to impact the living.

Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and family will. So ensure you build strategic relationship with them.

Pay off your credit cards every month. Don't remain in debt because your earning ability is limited. Gradually with determination you've to live a debt free life.

You don't have to win every argument. Stay true to yourself. Understand that your opinions will not always be the people's opinion.

Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone. Life is not meant to be lived in isolation. Get connected with others even in sorrowful moments.

It's okay to get angry with God. He can take it. But learn to understand God's perspective as well because to be in His position is not easy.

Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck. Never live from hand to mouth—that is an insult to your destiny. Learn to invest with the little you earn because your future depends on it.

When it comes to negativity, evil, sin, disobedience to principles and laws, don't think twice about it. Your resistance to these destroyers proves the greatness of your destiny.

Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present. Never focus on all what happened in the past because you can't arrive at your destination whiles looking into the rear morrow as the driver of your destiny.

It's okay to let your children see you cry. But when they do, always encourage them that life triggers tears at times. However, after the cry you must rise up to the task of reality.

Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about. Your comperism of others makes you loose your originality. Be yourself and maintain the path of your destiny—you are completely different from any other person you see on earth.

If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it. Fake people who want to abuse your destiny always want to keep their relationship with you secretly. Mark such people and avoid them with passion.

Everything can change in the blink of an eye, but don't worry, God never blinks. Your trust in men can't guarantee your tomorrow but God will never disappoint you if you trust fully in Him because He has never disappointed anyone I know that trust Him fully.

Take a deep breath. It calms the mind. Learn to take a leave when you are exhausted. If you refuse to observe the Sabbath it won't take care of you.

Get rid of anything that isn't useful. Clutter weighs you down in many ways. Don't forget that you have limited time to live. Never waste your precious time on unprofitable ventures because they will just weary your soul.

Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger. Pay attention to it, learn everything you can from it and make the best out of it. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.

It's never too late to be happy. But it’s all up to you and no one else. No one is in charge of your happiness but you. So never expect anyone to make you happy. You have your maker, you've your potentials and you have all it takes to always make yourself happy—don't leave that in the hands of others.

When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer. Always ensure you go for the best because the choices you make are solely what you are responsible for. And that's what determines the outcome of your life.

Burn the midnight candles, use your potentials to the maximum, develop the best relationship with your maker. Don't live a casual or normal life—be serious in working out your salvation. There is more room for improvement so don't remain where you are now.

Over prepare, then go with the flow. When preparation meet opportunities, there is always a breakthrough so be in a continuous preparation mode—no matter your gender, career, profession, colour or location.

Always seek to have a supernatural experience of life. Life is more than what you see in the physical. There is a more real realm than the physical—the spiritual realm is your source so aim at having a touch with the supernatural. That is what unveils your reality.

The most important s*x organ is the brain. The organ used to covert spiritual reality into physical reality is the brain. The way you see, value and use your brain determines the quality of your life. Use your brain well to make the best of your life.

Be ready because anything can happen to you in this life. Good, unexpected, or disaster can happen in this life, however, frame every so-called disaster with these words: 'In five years, will this matter?' If not, then don't kill or do any bad thing to yourself because life is better than death. Always choose life no matter what you go through in this life.

Learn to easily forgive. Don't hold on to offenses for so long because you are not righteous than whoever has offended you. Forgiveness is one of the virtues that makes you demonstrate God in humanity.

What other people think of you is none of your business. There is no way you can control what others think or say about you. Only be interested in what is in your control and not what others have control of over you. This is a principal wisdom for healthy living.


Time heals almost everything. Give time time. Also know that time is a revealer of truth so learn to give time to what you don't understand now. However good or bad a situation is, it will change in the cause of time so be patient.

Believe in miracles. Especially the genuine ones from the source of life. If you do, you will walk in them. Whatever you believe, you attract. So never talk against what you don't understand. Rather pray for understanding. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.

God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do. That doesn't also means that you leave everything for God to do. Ensure you live a responsible life and do the needful in your power. What you have to do God will not do it for you. Whatever God must do for you is already done—give yourself time to see the manifestation of them.

If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back. Life is meant to solve the problems of others. Equip yourself adequately to solve the problem of humans—that's the easiest way to attract the attention of human beings. Be a problem solver and the world will salute you.

Envy is a waste of time. Accept what you already have, not what you need. Knowing what you already have and being best at it will bring everything else you need in this life. There is no need to look outside of yourself—look within you. Everything you need to make it in life is already embedded in you.

Irrespective of what you are going through right now, I would like you to know that the best is yet to come. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up. The world is waiting for your rising to glorify God.
