Asuogyaman District Assembly Undertakes Project Monitoring Exercise – 04/03/2026

The Asuogyaman District Assembly, under the dynamic leadership of Hon. Godwin Bobobee, on 4th March 2026 continued its district-wide inspection of ongoing development projects. The exercise highlights the Assembly’s unwavering dedication to delivering quality infrastructure and enhancing essential services for communities across the district.

The team’s first point of call was South Senchi, where they examined progress on a state-of-the-art 6-unit classroom block. The facility includes seven WC toilet units, a staff common room with its own washroom, a head teacher’s office with private toilet facilities, a computer laboratory, and a store. Upon completion, the project is expected to greatly improve academic work, sanitation standards, and overall comfort for both learners and teachers.

The delegation then proceeded to Old Akrade to inspect the ongoing construction of a Community CHPS Compound with nurses’ quarters. This important health facility is aimed at bringing accessible primary healthcare services closer to residents, reducing the need to travel long distances for medical attention, and strengthening maternal and child healthcare in the community.

At Fintey, the Assembly reviewed the completed Community CHPS Compound with accommodation. The facility represents a significant boost to healthcare delivery in the area, ensuring that health professionals are permanently stationed and readily available to attend to the needs of the people.

The final stop was at Anum, where construction works are ongoing for a mechanized borehole. Once operational, the borehole will provide a dependable supply of safe drinking water, thereby improving sanitation, promoting good health, and enhancing the overall well-being of residents.

This monitoring exercise forms part of the Assembly’s continuous efforts to guarantee that projects are executed according to approved specifications and timelines, while effectively responding to the developmental priorities of the Asuogyaman District.
