In the company of the Ahafo Regional Minister and the Municipal Chief Executive for Tano South, I joined His Excellency the President and other sector ministers to inspect the ongoing Bechem Poultry and Meat Processing Factory.

The project has already provided employment for about 100 young people. Upon completion, it is expected to create more jobs, stimulate local economic activity and advance the economic development of Tano South.

6 | Accounting to the People

The accountability tour continued in the townships of Asikaso, Bofoaka and Mawaninso, where I engaged residents and took them through how various statutory funds received on their behalf have been expended.

The keen interest and questions from the people reaffirm one thing: transparent and accountable leadership is what the people expect, and rightly so.

Every step of the way, I shall not relent on this.

: Engaging Communities and Accountability

The wheels of listening, engagement and accountability landed in Asuboi, Punpunase, Nyamebeye and Dwomo yesterday, as I continue Community engagements across the constituency.

These engagements provides the platform to account to the people on how various funds received are being utilised and work together to identify solutions that respond to the realities of each community.

I promised to remain accessible, accountable and responsive to the people, and I will not relent on that promise.

The engagement continues, one Community at a time.

Listening. Engaging. Accountability.
4
In fulfilment of my responsibility to the people who have entrusted me with the mandate to represent them in Parliament, I engaged with the communities of Subriso, Woranponho, Tweapease and Akrobo.

Beyond the ongoing developmental projects and accountability, these engagements provide the opportunity to understand their emerging needs, assess the challenges confronting our communities and work together towards practical solutions.

The engagement continues today. As Community needs evolve, continuous dialogue remains key to ensuring that development priorities reflect the realities and aspirations of the people.

This morning, Tano South Constituency joined the nationwide observance of the Government's National Sanitation Day directive.

Together with the Ahafo Regional Minister, Hon. Charity Gardiner, and the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Kwame Frimpong, we joined the good people of Techimantia for a clean-up exercise to promote a clean, safe and healthy environment.

My gratitude goes out to everyone who came out in their numbers to participate in the exercise. Your commitment to keeping our communities clean is commendable and indicates that a cleaner Tano South is a shared responsibility.
