The NCCE North East Regional Office has engaged listeners of Nobyah TV/FM 98.1 on Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (ASRHR), Gender Equality and the Prevention of Gender-Based Violence (GBV).
The radio discussion, held today, 21st September 2026, featured a resource person from CHRAJ and provided an opportunity for listeners to learn more about adolescent rights, protection from violence and discrimination, harmful gender stereotypes, GBV prevention, and available support and reporting mechanisms.
The interactive session also allowed listeners to participate through a phone-in segment, ask questions and seek clarification on issues affecting adolescents and communities.
The engagement forms part of the NCCE Adolescent Girls Programme (AGP), funded by Global Affairs Canada and implemented by UNFPA, which seeks to promote adolescent health, gender equality and the prevention of GBV through sustained civic engagement.
