*E/R Press Conference at Akosombo in Asuogyaman Constituency*
At a press conference held today in Akosombo, Comrade Kojo Danquah , the Eastern Regional Communications Officer, joined Comrade Malik Basintale, the Deputy National Communications Officer, and Hon. Thomas Nyarko Ampem, MP for Asuogyaman Constituency, responded to recent scandalous and reckless remarks made by Pius Enam Hadzide, the NPP parliamentary candidate for Asuogyaman.
The press conference condemned Mr. Hadzide's illegal and deceitful promises to the people of Asuogyaman, including his criminal and corrupt assurance of illegal travel to the USA for the 2026 World Cup, should he be elected. Furthermore, his disgraceful promise to grant free exeats to female students, allowing them to visit his home anytime they want, underlines a gross misuse and inhuman of influence, particularly by exploiting his relationships with school authorities. Such behavior is not only inappropriate but raises serious concerns about the moral character of Mr. Hadzide.
Comrade Malik Basintale further exposed Pius Enam Hadzide’s involvement in the infamous Australian visa scandal, where he facilitated illegal travel and allegedly extorted money from Ghanaians, including residents of Ketu South, some of whom were deported. To this day, Mr. Hadzide has refused to return the bribe money he took, proving once again that he is unfit for leadership. The NDC calls on the good people of Asuogyaman to reject and vote against such dishonesty and corrupt *Pius Enam Hadzide* and to stand for accountable and trustworthy leadership since Nana Akufo-Addo and Bawumia government refuse to investigate him for wrong doing.
