In 2023, I had the honour of meeting with Yaa Naa Abukari II, the esteemed leader of Dagbon. During our conversation, Yaa Naa recognized my dedication and hard work in industrializing the country, expressing that the nation had reached a critical point where my expertise was crucial for economic recovery.
Waving a bundle of fresh one cedi notes, the Yaa Naa said, "Your first task as leader of this country will be to restore the economy so that the one cedi note can be used again. The one cedi note is important to our people."

In 2004, I introduced the Friday Wear during my tenure as Minister. The whole objective was to get us as a people to be proud of what we produce...and to give a strong stimulus to the textile industry, our tailors and seamstresses.
Ever since, "Friday Wear" has become a source of national pride and created thousands of jobs.

The New Agricultural Revolution (NAR) will
1. Connect Ghanaian Farmers to local, regional, and global markets through improved trade agreements and processes.
2. Prioritize technology, innovation, and groundbreaking research in Ghanaian Agriculture.
3. Optimize value creation and put Ghanaian farmers at the forefront, maximizing their hard work.
4. Promote large-scale commercial farming for lasting success.
