The National House of Chiefs held its final meeting for the year 2023 on 21st December. In attendance was the Hon. Minister of Chieftaincy & Religious Affairs, Hon. Stephen Asamoah Boateng

The National House of Chiefs met a consultium to deliberate on a draft constitution for the Dagbon Traditional Area.

A delegation of Traditional leaders from Free State Province in South Africa paid a courtesy call on some members of the National House of Chiefs. The delegation was led by the High Commissioner of South Africa to Ghana, Her Excellency Grace Jeanet Mason. The meeting discussed ways through which Traditional Authorities in both countries can collaborate for the mutual benefits of Ghana and South Africa.

The President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo met the National House of Chiefs on 9th September, 2023 to discuss the second phase of the Plant for Food and Jobs. The President used the occasion to appeal to Traditional Authorities to release land for the seamless implementation of the project.

The National House of Chiefs held a general meeting on 13th July, 2023 at the conference Hall of the House.In attendance was the Honorable Minister of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, The Honorable Stephen Asamoah Boateng.

The committee of Governance and Legal Affairs of the National House of Chiefs met on Monday 10th July, 2023 with a section of Queenmothers in Ghana on the ongoing on Chieftaincy Act amended process
