With the deepest sadness, we inform you that our founder
Dr Eric Shaw has passed away. He will be greatly missed by many.
Thank you Eric for all your lessons, all your patience, your advice, good humour, your service and your compassion for both your fellow man and to the natural world.
It's been a privilege, may you rest in peace.
Eric Shaw's funeral will be at the Holy Trinity Cathedral on Friday 17th at 4pm
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy 2023 from all at the Helping Hand Trust!

We were notified about a juvenile cormorant on D-pontoon in QQM.
It was seen by one of the resident boat owners, first struggling to get out of the water and then struggled to get dry.
Thankfully, the young cormorant was just waterlogged and eventually able to get itself dry and fly.
