Pragmatic Play Sponsors Marmoset Enclosure at
Alameda Wildlife Conservation Park
Pragmatic Play has donated £10,000 to support the redevelopment of the marmoset enclosure at the Alameda Wildlife Conservation Park in Gibraltar.
The contribution will fund essential upgrades to the enclosure, including the installation of a new roof, heaters and a new window to help retain heat and improve conditions for the animals housed there.
In recognition of the donation, a plaque thanking Pragmatic Play has been installed at the enclosure. It reads:
“Perfectly proportioned and full of personality, this marmoset enclosure is
proudly supported by Pragmatic Play.”
The Alameda Wildlife Conservation Park (AWCP), Gibraltar’s only wildlife park, is home to a collection of both native and exotic species. The park plays a vital role in caring for exotic animals confiscated by authorities, while also supporting conservation education through species such as the endangered Cotton-top tamarin, which are on loan from international zoos.
An important part of the park’s mission is the conservation of threatened species and the support of international conservation projects.
The donation comes at an important time for the park, which recently lost one of its marmosets and is now working to find a suitable companion for its remaining marmoset, Jump.
Julian Jarvis, CEO of Pragmatic Play, said: “We are proud to support the important work being carried out by Alameda Wildlife Conservation Park. Conservation, education and animal welfare are incredibly valuable causes, and we are pleased that this contribution will help improve the environment for the park’s marmosets and support the wider mission of the AWCP.”
Keith Bensusan, Director of the Gibraltar Botanic Gardens on behalf of Alameda Wildlife Conservation Park, said: “The AWCP has been generously supported by donations that have contributed greatly to the park’s development and growth. We are most grateful to Pragmatic Play for this latest contribution, which significantly enhances Jump’s wellbeing and ensures the enclosure’s suitability for future animals.”
The initiative forms part of Pragmatic Play’s ongoing commitment to supporting community and environmental projects in the regions where it operates.

These beautiful finches were confiscated at the border, but thanks to our team's care, they have been safely housed in quarantine while we prepared their new home.
Last week, they were finally introduced to their brand-new enclosure 🌿
This is a lovely moment to say thank you.
Rehoming animals like these wouldn’t be possible without the generosity and support of our community. Every donation truly makes a difference.
We would also like to give a special thank you to the schools and groups who continue to support our work 💚
