HM Customs Seize Fireworks in Two Separate Incidents As we head into the busy Christmas period, HM Customs Gibraltar reminds the public that the importation of fireworks without a valid licence is strictly prohibited under the Imports and Exports (Control) Regulations 1987, specifically Schedule 1, Item 10.

Today, our Marine Section proudly supported the GASA Endurance Swim, ensuring that all swimmers were kept safe throughout the event. A big well done to everyone who took part!

ECOs Nicholas Podesta and Julian Freyone were recently awarded their Level 4 Teaching Certificates having successfully completed a 12 week course of study at the University of Gibraltar.
Both officers are instructors of various departmental training courses and this qualification enables them to further enhance the quality of the sessions they instruct.

⚠️ Marine Incident Report – Deceased Dolphin
During a routine patrol today off Catalan Bay, our Marine Section spotted a common dolphin in the water. On closer approach, it was sadly confirmed that the dolphin was already deceased.
The Dolphin was recovered on board HMC Sentinel, and the Department of the Environment has been notified to which the dolphin will be handed over.

Gold and Silver medal wins for Gib! 🏆🏅🏆🏅
A huge congratulations to all four swimmers on their amazing success at The European Open Water Unified Swimming Race in Barcelona! Our very own Charles Harrison, along with Ivan Gomez, Adrian Lopez, and Adam Stewart, all swam brilliantly to secure both Gold and Silver medals. This is a truly fantastic achievement for Team Gib! 🙌🏼🇬🇮
