Forty (40) women from Kundam, Upper River Region under Indigenous Food and Livelihood Opportunities project were trained on the Cereal Processing, packaging, labelling and entrepreneurship.

Today, Monday 15th September 2025, marked the final day of the 5-day training in Karantaba, where 36 women learned practical skills in measurement, labelling, and packaging of cereal products. Starting tomorrow, Tuesday 16th September, the training team from Naffa Foods Processing and Tumana Agency For Development officials will begin another 5-day session in Kundam Maffaty for 30 women from Fulladou East and parts of Tumana District, continuing the effort to empower women with knowledge and skills in cereal processing.

We are providing training on agribusiness management, cereal processing, packaging and labeling for second cohort of 30 women in Upper River Region under the Indigenous Food and Livelihood Opportunities for Women project.
The theme of the project is Strengthening Food Systems and Economic Empowerment of Women in Upper River Region, supported by Fund and implemented by theTumana Agency For Development
