APPRECIATION FROM ANONYMOUS STAFF.
I’m writing this message from a very deep and sincere place in my heart. When I think about the kind of person you are and everything you’ve done for the GPA, JERE JEFF will never be enough to express our gratitude. Your impact goes far beyond words.
Life can be unfair sometimes, and the road can get very rough, but I want to remind you that this is only a phase. Please stay strong and keep your faith in Allah this too shall pass, just like every other trial in life
To be honest, today I was overwhelmed with emotion because of you and the situation you’re facing. It hurt deeply because I know and we all know, the truth about your dedication and the sacrifices you’ve made for the development of the port. You didn’t just lead, you transformed. Even when other ports around The Gambia had more capacity and better advantages, your leadership kept us standing strong and moving forward with pride.
But what truly sets you apart is your heart. Your greatest legacy is not just infrastructure or growth, it is people. You believed in us when many wouldn’t. You saw potential where others saw nothing. You gave opportunities without looking at tribe or connections. You invested in people like me, and many others, making sure we had the training and support to become better and serve the institution with dignity.
Honestly, without you I wouldn’t be who I am today at the port. That is something I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
Please know that you are not alone. We stand with you, not just in words, but from the depths of our hearts. Your impact, your sacrifices, and your legacy can never be erased.
