🚐 Day 10 – Voter Registration & Peaceful Election Caravan Ends in Banjul

Today marks the successful conclusion of the Voter Registration and Peaceful Election Caravan as the campaign reaches its final stop in Banjul. 🇬🇲

Over the past days, the caravan traveled across communities nationwide—engaging citizens, promoting peaceful coexistence, encouraging voter registration, and strengthening awareness on the importance of respecting the electoral process.

📍 Final engagements held in Banjul City

Through community sensitization forums and direct engagement with citizens, the initiative amplified the message that peaceful elections are a shared national responsibility and that every eligible citizen has a role to play in shaping the future through active democratic participation. 🤝🏾

🕊️ As the caravan comes to an end, the message remains clear: peace, unity, tolerance, and participation must continue beyond the campaign period. Together, we can build a stronger democracy grounded in dialogue and mutual respect.

We extend sincere appreciation to CRS The Gambia, community leaders, youth volunteers, security services, media partners and citizens who contributed to the success of this nationwide initiative.

This entire caravan is funded by CRS.
