NPP Led government setting unprecedented records on the global stage.
24/04/2026
We saw an unfortunate, disgruntled, bitter, angry and useless youth falsely accusing us of entering classrooms, disrupting lessons and disturbing NPP’s T-shirts in school campuses. That is both misleading and untrue.
From all indications including the unprecedented progress, peace, development and unity sustained, Barrow PORG will win come December 5th 2026, the earlier you all adjust to that reality the less chest pain you’ll have when the time comes.

FINAL DAY – NPP STUDENTS’ WING CIVIC RESPONSIBILITY NATIONWIDE TOUR 1.0
We closed the final day of our nationwide tour on a meaningful note at Nungu Kebbeh NBR, where the team held a one-hour Civic Education session with students. It was a simple but impactful engagement. The discussion focused on what it means to be an active citizen, why voter participation matters, and how young people can contribute to shaping the country’s future. The students were attentive, asked thoughtful questions, and showed genuine interest in the conversation.
From there, the team moved to the Banjul–Barra Ferry terminal. What followed was not planned, but it spoke volumes. A number of young people approached the team to express their appreciation and admiration for the work done across the regions. Their words were sincere and encouraging, and for many of us, it was a moment that quietly affirmed the value of the entire journey.
As we bring the NPP Students’ Wing Civic Responsibility Nationwide Tour 1.0 to a close, we do so with a deep sense of gratitude and reflection. Over the course of this tour, we met communities from different parts of the country, engaged with young people, and shared conversations that matter. In all the places we visited, people consistently expressed their support for President Adama Barrow and his government, pointing to the progress being made in different sectors.
We sincerely thank the NPP National Executive Council for their leadership and support throughout this initiative. Our appreciation also goes to the Regional Structures for their coordination on the ground, and to the many communities that welcomed and engaged with us openly.
To the youths, women, and students who participated in these conversations, we are grateful for your time, your voices, and your willingness to be part of this process. And to every member of the Students’ Wing who contributed in one way or another, your effort and commitment made this tour possible.
This may be the end of the tour, but it is not the end of the work. The conversations continue, and so does the responsibility we all share in building a more aware and active citizenry.

DAY FIVE – CENTRAL RIVER REGION NORTH (CRR NORTH)
NPP Students Wing Civic Responsibility Nationwide Tour 1.0
Day five of our nationwide civic engagement tour took us to the heart of the Central River Region North, where we continued our mission of strengthening political awareness and deepening citizen participation among communities.
Our engagements brought together a vibrant mix of youths, women, and elders who turned out in significant numbers, demonstrating their growing interest in governance and national development. The discussions centered on the importance of voter registration, active participation in democratic processes, and the collective responsibility of citizens in sustaining national progress.
Speakers from the delegation highlighted the strides made under the leadership of President Adama Barrow, particularly in key sectors such as infrastructure, agriculture, education, and youth empowerment. Emphasis was placed on the need for continued unity and support to consolidate these gains and ensure inclusive development across all regions.
The interactive nature of the engagement allowed community members to voice their perspectives, ask critical questions, and contribute meaningfully to the dialogue. Across all communities visited, there was a clear and consistent message of appreciation and unwavering support for President Barrow and his government, with many citing visible improvements in their livelihoods and local environments.
As the tour progresses, the NPP Students Wing remains resolute in its commitment to bridging the gap between leadership and citizens, fostering informed participation, and nurturing a politically conscious generation dedicated to national development.
