Another deportation flight due in Banjul!

Yahya Sonko, German-based Gambian Migration Activist has said that they are informed that a deportation flight carrying Gambians from Germany is scheduled to arrive in The Gambia tonight.

“Several individuals awaiting deportation have reported from the airport in Germany, confirming that the flight has not yet departed but is expected to leave soon. We urge families and friends of those being deported to prepare to be at Banjul International Airport at 1:00 AM Gambian time to receive their loved ones,” he said.

As the Chairman of the Brikama Area Council, I had productive engagements with Recycling companies during a recent visit to Germany. We discussed strategic partnerships for improving waste management in the West Coast Region. Germany being a leader in waste management solutions together with our commitment to the Seneya Project, we aim to address the issue of waste management in the West Coast Region.
