The 20th Executive Council of UTG-SSA extends its deepest appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the successful hosting of the GAMIS–UTGSSA Outreach 2026 held in commemoration of the International Day of Immunology.
Today's event was a beautiful convergence of knowledge, inspiration, networking and scientific vision. Seeing young minds passionately engage with professionals and opportunities within biomedical science reminds us that the future of research and innovation in The Gambia is incredibly bright.

Your words planted seeds of inspiration that will continue to grow in the hearts of many students present today and to every student who attended thank you for making the atmosphere lively, impactful and meaningful.

The atmosphere is already giving banquet vibes and the environment is giving royalty vibes. The sky remains blue and the sun remains yellow and SSA will remain GREAT!!!

It is with immense pride that the leadership of the 20th executive council of SSA indites to extends its deepest appreciation to *Ebrima Soumare* who emerged as the *valedictorian of the class of 2025* of the university of the Gambia with a *Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics*
From countless hours of study to consistent academic excellence, Ebrima has set a standard that inspires not only his peers but the entire student body. His journey reflects resilience, focus, and the true spirit of academia.
This is more than a triumph for the science students’ association, but it is shared pride and brilliance.

*MESSAGE OF APPRECIATION*

Dear Esteemed colleagues,
The Education and Research Ministry extends sincere appreciation to all participants who attended the Climate Literacy Workshop, which also marked the launch of Climate Compass, a youth-led national platform advancing climate literacy.
Participants actively engaged in Climate Fresk, an interactive card game that helps people understand climate change by connecting information drawn from the IPCC in a visual and hands-on way. The session was insightful and created a space for learning, discussion, and collaboration.
The Ministry also expresses gratitude to the Climate Compass team for leading this important initiative and for their commitment to promoting climate awareness among young people.
We thank everyone who contributed to making the workshop a success.

Esteemed Students,
The UTG–Science Students Association, through the Education and Research Ministry, invites all science students to a career webinar focused on guiding students from BSc to Master’s level and beyond.
The session will be hosted by Honourable Pa Modou Faal, with Mr.Mbara Cham (PhD. student at Istanbul University and Founder of Chama Study Abroad) as guest speaker, and Miss Oumou Khairy Wane as co-host.
