The handing-over ceremony of office equipment and furniture by IOM to the Department of Labour. This equipment and furnitures are for the various job centres to be established in West Coast Region (Brikama), North Bank Region (Farafenni), and Lower River Region (Soma). This initiative is to avail opportunities to youths across the regions in their search for employment.

The government of the Gambia through the ministry of Trade, Industry , Regional Integration, and Employment has signed bilateral labour agreement with Saudi Ministry of Labour to supply labour for job opportunities in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The objective if this initiative is among others to reverse the irregular migration in the Gambia. The first level of labour supply is domestic workers. Gamjobs Ltd has been licensed to recruit workers and the process will be supervised and coordinated by the Publuc Employment Services of the Department of Labour.
