Friutful 2 day-visit to the project "Empowering communities for resilient food systems in Foni" funded by Spain (250.000$) through the SDG Fund.

We could hear from beneficiaries about the impact of this intervention: Farmers have learnt sustainable techniques and increased production, schools have strengthened their school feeding programs and local governments have committed to allocate more funds to homegrown school feeding programs.

School feeding is key for better nutrition and higher rates of school enrollment and better academic performance by children.
