A once in a lifetime experience...walk alongside Africa's most majestic predator. The "walking with lions"encounter is an opportunity to interact with young lions. The walks take approximately one hour to complete
BIRDS AND BREAKFAST:the Gambia's first protected area which is around the village of Lamin, about 8km southwest of serrekunda, draws large numbers of birdswatchers, wildlife enthusiasts and other day trippers, not for the village it's self, which is nothing special, but for Abuko nature reserve and the Tanbi wetlands. A walk along Abuko's shady paths can yield excellent sightings of monkey, chameleons, colourful lizards and hyenas many of them inquisitive and apparently tame. Exploring the tanbi wetlands, the network of mangrove creeks just inside the mouth of River Gambia, can be equally rewarding for birdwatchers and anglers. A perfect way to end an excursion into the creek is to relax at laminlodge
