The Conference brought together government representatives, legal experts, HR leaders, and Greek businesses to share knowledge, experiences, and practical guidance on hiring of 3rd country nationals through safe, legal and efficient institutional framework of Metaklisis Model. The inaugural Seva Sankalp Resolution passed by the Union Cabinet on 24.02.2026 was deliberated by the Mission today, where Mission officials expressed their dedication to public service, integrity, accountability, and citizen-centric governance. They reaffirmed their collective commitment to uphold these principles and to work towards building a responsive, empathetic and people-centric administration in line with the vision of by 2047.

Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India has launched 88th edition of the Know India Programme (KIP) by the Ministry of External Affairs from March 8-27, 2026. KIP is a flagship programme of this Ministry that seeks to reconnect PIOs in the age-group of 21-35 years with their ethnic roots besides showcasing the rich cultural heritage of India and its recent spectacular developmental efforts. Through this Programme, Ministry endeavours to present various facets of contemporary Indian Arts, Heritage, Culture, Economy, Innovations, Start-ups, Science & Technology, etc., to the youth members of the Indian Diaspora and strives to motivate and inspire them to contribute and participate in the transformative initiatives of the Government of India as part of its march towards Viksit Bharat. भारतीय दूतावास एथेंस द्वारा विश्व हिंदी दिवस 2026 का आयोजन किया गया, जहाँ दूतावास द्वारा सभी प्रतिभागियों का स्वागत करते हुए हिन्दी भाषा की वैश्विक पटल पर भूमिका को और सशक्त करने के लिए सबकी सामूहिक प्रयास पर बल दिया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में भारतीय समुदाय के लोगों ने बढ़ चढ़ कर भाग लिया जिससे हिंदी भाषा की गरिमा और उसे दैनिक जीवन में प्रभावशाली माध्यम से अधिकाधिक प्रयोग में लाने पर बल दिया गया ताकि हिंदी विश्व पटल पर जनमानस की भाषा के रूप में प्रतिस्थापित हो सके। दूतावास ने कविता पाठ / वाचन और निबंध प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया। तदनुसार समस्त विजेताओं को नकद पुरस्कार प्रदान किये गए।

Salamis Shipyards and ACT Infraport Ltd signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 19th January 2026 in Athens at the offices of Propel Shipping Ltd. The signing ceremony was witnessed by H.E. Ambassador Rudrendra Tandon.
Greece–India relations continue to advance through small yet steadfast steps toward a strategic partnership. As the saying goes, droplets make up an ocean. The Embassy looks forward to many more such initiatives that strengthen bilateral cooperation.

The celebration will comprise of unfurling of the National Flag by H.E. the Ambassador, reading of Hon'ble President's Address to the Nation, followed by light refreshments.

The 76th was celebrated by the Mission to commemorate the day of adoption of Indian Constitution on 26th November 1949 as a set of guiding principles to fulfill the aspirations of millions of people for a Viksit Bharat. Let us reaffirms our dedication to the values enshrined in the Preamble, an edifice on which the entire nation resolutely progresses forward towards the cherished goals. On this occasion, officers and staff of the Mission read the Preamble, in order to honour and reaffirm the core ideals of our Constitution. A documentary dedicated to the formulation of the Constitution was also screened on this occasion.
