Το ημερολόγιο ανασκαφής που ανακαλύψαμε στο φωτογραφικό αρχείο μας, ξύπνησε αναμνήσεις από το παρελθόν. Σε αυτό γινόταν η καταγραφή όλων των στοιχείων κατά την διάρκεια της ανασκαφής της αρχαίας γειτονιάς στο οικόπεδο Μακρυγιάννη, πριν την ανέγερση του Μουσείου.
Σήμερα η ανασκαφή απλώνεται, ως ένα τεράστιο έκθεμα, κάτω από το Μουσείο, ενσωματωμένη σε ένα νέο περιβάλλον που την προστατεύει και την αναδεικνύει και είναι επισκέψιμη καθημερινά.

The excavation diary that we found in our photo archive brought back memories from the past. In this diary, all elements were recorded during the excavation of the ancient neighborhood on the Makrygianni plot, before the construction of the Museum.
Today, the excavation stretches beneath the Museum like a giant exhibit, integrated in a new environment that protects and highlights the excavation, which one can visit everyday.

Ανατρέχοντας στο φωτογραφικό μας αρχείο τις τελευταίες κρύες μέρες, ανακαλύψαμε χιόνι στον χώρο της ανασκαφής, εκεί που σήμερα στέκει το Μουσείο.
