At the very interesting International Symposium of the Hellenic Association of Energy Economics-HAEE I presented as an invited speaker the possibilities of energy utilization through the circular economy, the perspectives, the benefits and the role that can and should be played by Industry and local government based on the European directives.

Συμμετείχαμε με το Εθνικό Συμβούλιο Ερευνας και Τεχνολογίας Ενεργειακής Αξιοποίησης Αποβλήτων -ΣΥΝΕΡΓΕΙΑ (μέλος του αντίστοιχου διεθνούς δικτύου του Πανεπιστημίου Columbia) με περίπτερο στην έκθεση Προστασίας Περιβάλλοντος VERDE.TEC.
Εγινε ενημέρωση του κοινού και των επισκεπτών της έκθεσης για τον απαραίτητο ρόλο, που παίζει η ενεργειακή αξιοποίηση σε ένα ολοκληρωμένο σύστημα διαχείρισης Απορριμμάτων.
Απο τις αντιδράσεις των ανθρώπων με τους οποίους μιλήσαμε φάνηκε ότι υπάρχει έλλειψη πληροφόρησης στην χωρα μας για τις Τεχνολογίες Ενεργειακής Αξιοποίησης Αποβλήτων και τον ρόλο που μπορούν να παίξουν στην ολοκληρωμένη διαχείριση των αποβλήτων.
The Greek Waste to Energy Research and Technology Coucil WTERT-Greece (part of the International Wte Network of the Columbia University) participated in the VERDE.TEC Exhibition presenting the role Energy Utilisation can play in an Integrated Waste Management System.
It was evident, that there is a lack of information of the greek public on Waste to Energy Technologies and the importance they have in creating a successful Integrated Waste Management System
