Some people come to Skiathos for the first time. Others come back after 25 years. And then there are those who decided to make the island part of their everyday life.

Louise is visiting Skiathos for the very first time, while Margaret first discovered the island 25 years ago.

Danny and Nicola took it one step further. Five years ago, they made their dream a reality by buying their little house here in Skiathos — a place they can truly call home.

And from the very beginning, they have been among the closest friends of Octopus Skiathos. They have shared countless beautiful days and evenings with us, becoming part of the Octopus family from day one.

Their connection with Skiathos goes even deeper. In 2018, Danny and Nicola got married right here on the island, with Nick Karvounis behind the camera, capturing their wedding memories.

Years later, they are still here, still in love with Skiathos, and still creating new memories with us.

This is what we love about Skiathos. It is not only a place you visit. Sometimes, it becomes part of your story — and sometimes, it becomes home.

From first visits to 25-year friendships, from weddings to little island houses, the stories continue.

And at Octopus Skiathos, we are lucky to be part of so many of them.

September 25th marks the end of another beautiful summer at Octopus Skiathos. Come visit us, enjoy the atmosphere, share a drink, a meal, and a few final summer moments with us.

It’s their first time discovering Skiathos, and what a way to experience the island — from enjoying horse riding to spending a long, relaxing evening by the sea with us.

Good food, good company, the sound of the waves and the moon shining over Achladies Beach. Sometimes, the best holiday memories are simply made around a table by the sea.

A special connection with Sandy

Beth and Luke from Manchester have fallen in love with Sandy, the little mascot of Octopus Skiathos.

Having already opened their hearts to dogs from Zakynthos, they have a special place in their hearts for animals — and Sandy has certainly captured theirs.

During their time in Skiathos, they have grown to love Sandy, Octopus and the island itself, creating memories that will stay with them long after they return home.

Sometimes, the simplest friendships are the ones that mean the most.

Mikros Vorias Rosé — a taste of the Greek mountains by the Aegean

At Octopus Skiathos, discover the elegant Mikros Vorias Rosé by Rouvalis Winery — a dry Greek rosé from the mountain vineyards of Aigialeia in the Peloponnese.

Made from Grenache, Syrah and Roditis, with vineyards at around 800–900 metres altitude, it brings together vibrant red fruits, grapefruit and apricot, delicate violet aromas and a beautifully refreshing finish.
