Big thank you to Attorney Jim Baldwin for coming to Harvest House and breaking down Guam's new Foster Parents Bill of Rights (Public Law 38-56)! 🙌🏼 Foster parents now have clearly defined legal rights, and knowing them means better advocacy for the kids in our homes.

May is National Foster Care Month! Each foster child has a name, a story, a need for safety and love, and a social worker helping carry the weight of their case every day.

We were honored to welcome Chief Justice Maraman, Judge Arthur Barcinas, Judge Elyze Iriarte, and members of the Judiciary of Guam and Courts to Harvest House for a special visit and tour of our space.

It was a meaningful opportunity to share more about the work we do and discuss how we can continue serving children and families in our island community together.

There are all kinds of mothers: biological moms, adoptive moms, foster moms, grandmas, aunties, and women who step in with motherly love when children need it most. 🌺

This Mother’s Day, we celebrate the women across our island who open their hearts and homes to children who need safety, comfort, and belonging.

With more than 105 licensed foster families on Guam, that’s over 105 moms who are actively showing up every day to love and care for the foster children in our community. 🩵🧡🤍

Last week, the Harvest Christian Academy Future Business Leaders of America club donated $21,705.25 to Harvest House, breaking a Harvest House record and becoming our largest donor to date!

Since 2017, HCA FBLA has dedicated the sales of their Atlas Cards to Harvest House, donating an astounding $100,000+ over the years.

Thank you, HCA FBLA, your advisors, local businesses, and everyone who supported this effort. Because of your hard work, leadership, and generosity, Harvest House can continue caring for some of the neediest children on our island. 🤍
