👏 Congratulations to the students of St. Paul Christian School on a successful History Bee Debate held on April 14, 2026, at the SPCS Gymnasium!
This year’s thought-provoking topic, “Guam should prioritize political independence over its strategic partnership with the United States,” challenged students to engage with one of the most important conversations facing our island today. Through research, respectful discourse, and critical analysis, participants demonstrated an impressive commitment to understanding Guam’s political status, civic responsibilities, and the future of our community.
We commend St. Paul Christian School for creating opportunities that empower our youth to think critically, articulate their perspectives, and become informed and engaged citizens. As future leaders, their voices and ideas will help shape the direction of our island for generations to come.
A special thank you to St. Paul Christian School for inviting our Board Member, Melvin Won-Pat Borja, who serves as Executive Director of the Commission on Decolonization and President of the Department of CHamoru Affairs, to serve as a judge for this meaningful event. We are honored to have participated in a program that encourages civic awareness and thoughtful dialogue among Guam’s young people.
Biba SPCS! 🎉 Congratulations to all the students, organizers, coaches, and judges on a job well done.
