Fix in Six - Guam

We’re continuing to spread the word about the Guam Fix in Six Program and ensuring vital recovery resources reach every corner of our island.

This week, our team participated in the 2026 Guam Governor’s Conference on Aging, where we hosted an information booth and shared available public programs with our island’s manåmko’.

Outreach remains a critical part of our mission as we work to connect Guam’s most vulnerable populations with the resources and opportunities available through disaster recovery efforts.

Join us on Monday, June 1, 2026 at the Sinajana Mayor’s Office Learning Resource Center for a Public Hearing for Substantial Amendment No. 02 of the Action Plan.

The amendment affects five existing programs, introduces program details and eligibility for the Economic Revitalization program, and consolidates one Infrastructure program to improve efficiency.

The Guam Housing and Urban Renewal Authority (GHURA) hosted a successful job fair in support of
the “Fix in Six” initiative, drawing more than 200 applicants eager to helping advance Guam’s long-
term recovery efforts following Typhoon Mawar.

of local agencies, partners, and residents working together to rebuild a stronger, safer, and more
resilient island for future generations.

The Guam Housing and Urban Renewal Authority is pleased to announce the opening of the Housing Recovery Application Center (HRAC), a self-service computer lab established to assist prospective applicants for the agency’s “Fix in Six” programs.

The HRAC was created to help bridge access gaps by providing community members with the tools and resources needed to complete the application process.

Through this initiative, GHURA continues its commitment to connecting residents with vital recovery services and advancing efforts to build stronger, more resilient communities for the future.
