You’re no mummy, vampire, or Frankenstein. Once you’re gone, there’s no coming back. You have one life — don’t waste it by driving drunk.

If you are a pedestrian, be extra cautious for drivers who may not be paying attention. Don't look down at your phone while crossing the road. Safety first!

Turn on your headlights while driving in gloomy/rainy weather.

Slower speeds save lives. The speed limits are road and situation specific to save lives and benefit all road users’ safety.

October is National Pedestrian Safety Month. Please yield for pedestrians, and follow the rules of the road and obey signs and signals. #

If your car seat is expired, do not give it away for another child to use!

2. Take plastic base to a recycling center!

The Guam DPW Office of Highway Safety along with NHTSA urges parents and caregivers to protect their child’s future at every stage of life, by making sure they secure them in the correct car seat for their age, height, and weight.

The leading cause of death for children is car crashes. Take a moment to do a safety seat check for your child this week to ensure their safety.

Drive Sober, Guam! Labor Day weekend usually involves an increased amount of drunk driving. It is is never okay to drink and drive. Even if you’ve had only one alcoholic beverage, designate a sober driver or plan a ride service to get home safely.
