Awards ceremony.

Recently,Zamar new Horizon Music group was officially launched..Zamar is locally based Gospel Band with prominent and celebrated Gospel artistes leading a.new path forward..
The aim is to provide vocal traning and support for the up-and- coming persons in the performing Arts..

The Awards ceremony that accompanied the launch was well-attended and many prominent Musicians and Local Icons were awared.for years of excellent service to the Music industry..

During the Education Month,St John the Baptist Primary School held a competitive Essay competition for students in grades 4,5 and 6..

Yesterday,The Regional Chairman made good on a promise to reward the winners for their outstanding essays..

The Chairman congratulates these students and is encouraging them to stick to academic pursuits and committ to persistent excellence..

Seventy three teachers are.now enarmoured with shining new Associate Degrees.
The Region,again acknowledges the dedication and efforts of these newly certified Educators..

However, the critcal issue remains our woeful pass rates at the NGSA and CSEC Examinations..

The finance committee of the Municipality in Action(wed 9th)..despite our challenges as a community the Council is primed and ready to partner with businesses in our beloved Bartica.They are many outstanding small and medium scaled projects that came out of the municipality's budget hence the opportunities to 'do business' together are before us now'.The council is also encouraging young enterprising businessmen/women to visit our office to get support and help from the Council on any new business venture.The municipality has established an investment desk and recognises that all have to come together to "make Bartica great again"..
