The English Unit , NCERD successfully hosted its National Impromptu Speech Competition on June 18, 2026, with students from Regions 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, and 10 demonstrating impressive critical thinking and public-speaking skills on randomly selected topical issues. Participants delivered confident and engaging speeches, making the competition highly competitive.
Resinta Holder (Region 10) emerged as the winner with 123 points , followed by Glennon Williams (Region 7) with 111 points, Raygon Griffith (Region 2) with 107 points and Kimbley Fidtkou (Region 9) with 106 points. The English Unit congratulates all participants and thanks the teachers, parents, and regional education officials who contributed to the event's success.
