This date on 27th Feb 2013 our esteemed and committed villager Dr Laurence Clarke was laid to rest in the village he loved.
Will always be remembered. May his soul continue to rest with those of his ancestors, and may his memory be a blessing to us all.

Christmas cheers was the order of the day for to some seniors.What a wonderful time it was.So often some of our seniors are overlooked when it comes to entertainment.Yesterday the PSGDA with support grom Plaisance New York group representative Mr.Claude Ince ,villagers and friends togrther made it a success.Special mention to Franklin Bunbury Ms June Halley Coreen Fortune,Ann StaglonJoy Hooper,Grace Zammett Maxcine Straker ,Karen Spooner Kurt Supermarket,

As we mourn the passing of Edgar Critchelow aka Papa a truly dedícated and committed villager
Mr Critchelow was the Founder member of Plaisance New York group.
Over the last 3 decades he held this group together and through fund raising events contributed generously to every institution in our twin village.
The contributions to Plaisance Dorcas Club and Plaisance Sparendaam, Goedverwagting Dev.Ass have been unwavering
His committment to the advancement of our village was evident when requests were made for financial assistance towards the Renovation of the "Society Hall," Plaisance Book "From Emancipatión to
Independence and Beyond" also the constructión of the "Plaisance Historical Site"
Mr Critchelow held the purse strings and ensured all requests for the development of Plaisance was honoured and he gave generously .
Papa lived a fruitful and full life.He completed the course and his soul is resting in a Higher realm.
We lost a Stalwart but his Legacy Plaisace NY Group lives on.
Our twin village salutes the memory of Edgar Critchelow aka Papa.
May his soul RIP
