MADE IN GUYANA RE-CERTIFICATION | Maliyah's Kitchen GY
The Guyana National Bureau of Standards (GNBS) is proud to congratulate Maliyah’s Kitchen, which today achieved re-certification to use the GNBS Approved Made in Guyana Standards Mark for its Chicken Foot / Sal Sev, Mithai and Milk Powder Fudge.
In a brief handing over ceremony held at Maliyah's Kitchen, the Made in Guyana Certificate was handed over by GNBS Technical Officers Kande Gordon and Peter Ho-A-Lim to Proprietress of Maliyah’s Kitchen, Alyssa Singh in the presence of the Manager, Mark Singh.
The Made in Guyana Standards Mark is a registered mark that aims to provide recognition to locally manufactured products on the local and international markets and is a signature of quality for authentic Guyanese Products.

GNBS participated in the recently held HSSE Conference spearheaded by AmCham Guyana. During the conference, Head of Standardisation, Andrea Mendonca presented on how standards drive HSSE development in Guyana.
Also representing the GNBS at the event were GNBS Executive Director, Trevor Bassoo and Head of Business Development, Al Fraser.

MADE IN GUYANA RE-CERTIFICATION | AquaFina Water & Ice Inc.
The Guyana National Bureau of Standards (GNBS) is pleased to congratulate AquaFina Water & Ice Inc., which was today re-certified and granted continued authorisation to use the GNBS Approved Made in Guyana Standards Mark for its water and ice products.
During a brief presentation ceremony held at AquaFina Water & Ice Inc., the Made in Guyana Certificate was presented by GNBS Technical Officer, Orlando Sturge and Administrative Clerk, Faith Philips, to the company's Directors, Nalini Latchana and Rajiv Latchana.
Also present were AquaFina Water & Ice Inc. employees: Raul Partab, Operations Supervisor; Ameenah Ahamad, Secretary; and Elisabeth Raman, Finance Manager.
The Made in Guyana Standards Mark is a registered certification mark that promotes recognition of locally manufactured products in both domestic and international markets. It serves as a symbol of quality and authenticity for genuine Guyanese products.

The GNBS is pleased to participate in the Government Outreach held today at the National Track and Field Facility, Leonora, Region 3, led by Vice President Hon. Bharrat Jagdeo.
The outreach provided valuable opportunities for entrepreneurs and small business owners to access information and support services from key agencies. GNBS remains committed to promoting quality, standards, and certification to help Guyanese businesses grow and compete successfully.
