The Regional Health Department, Region 6, is pleased to announce the launch of the Men's Health Clinic Outreach, an initiative designed to bring comprehensive healthcare services closer to men throughout the region.

The programme aims to encourage men to take a proactive approach to their health by providing access to a wide range of specialized medical services at community health facilities. Through this outreach initiative, men will have the opportunity to receive screenings, consultations, diagnostic services and treatment from a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

CASH GRANT DISTRIBUTION FOR ALL PREVIOUSLY REGISTERED

Staff of the Regional Democratic Council along with Community Service Officers, this morning participated in Enumerator Training in preparation for the Government of Guyana's Cash Grant distribution.

The training exercise was aimed at equipping participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively carry out the distribution of cheques to pensioners and persons with disabilities.

The enumeration exercise will be conducted at the various Neighbourhood Democratic Councils (NDCs) across the region. Residents are advised that a detailed schedule outlining dates and locations will be published shortly.

Regional Executive Officer, Mr. Ronald Harsawack, today attended his first RDC meeting in his capacity as Clerk of Council.

The meeting brought together council members to discuss matters of regional importance, including ongoing development initiatives, administrative issues and plans aimed at improving the delivery of services across the region.

During the proceedings, Mr. Harsawack carried out his responsibilities as Clerk of Council, facilitating the smooth conduct of the meeting and ensuring that the council's business was efficiently addressed.
