澳洲政府選用 iPhone/iPad！因 iOS 5 較 Android 安全！ Apple 的 iPhone/iPad 得到澳洲政府的認同將會用作儲存及共享政府資料之用。當地政府的資訊安全部門分析過 iOS 5 在多項安全準則下也較 Android 優勝，所以建議引入 iPhone/iPad 在政府部門中使用。著名保安公司 Symantec 也曾表示 iOS 較 Android 安全，在 Malware 攻擊的防護得到全面的保護，而 Android 則相對較少保護。
