This year, we‘re welcoming a new member to the CantoGather family — hello, Lina! 📣

A huge thank you to our partner schools, Yuen Long Long Ping Estate Tung Koon Primary School and CNEC Ta Tung School, and to our 43 students and 48 volunteer tutors for helping us bridge communities. 🧡

As we wrap up the year, we look forward to another year of connecting our CommUnity together with YOU!

好多朋友都話仲想報名做義工導師，所以我哋決定將截止日期延至 12月26號！

小雞咯咯叫，小鴨嘎嘎叫，咁樣點溝通呀？大家有冇試過同人講嘢，明明講得好清楚，但對方就係聽唔明，真係會令人好激氣㗎！
「粵講粵叻」就正因為咁而成立。我哋其中一個目標，就係幫非華裔小朋友學好廣東話，等佢哋唔使經歷「雞同鴨講」嘅時刻，創造一個所有人都能夠真正互相溝通，彼此理解嘅共融社會🧡
A chick goes cluck cluck, a duck goes quack quack—how on earth can they have a conversation? Have you ever tried to explain something super clearly, but the other person just didn’t get it? It's so frustrating, it makes you want to stomp your feet!
That’s exactly why Cantogather was born! One of our biggest goals is to help non-Chinese kids learn Cantonese, so they don’t have to deal with those “chicken and duck” moments. We’re all about building a truly inclusive society—where everyone can understand and connect with one another🧡

【文化智商訓練工作坊 — 我的非華裔鄰舍👧🏼🧒🏿👦🏻👶🏾】

要建立一個共融社會，點只學習語言咁簡單，當然仲要認識唔同地方嘅文化啦！所以我哋每年都會搞一個文化智商工作坊，通過唔同嘅活動同討論，為嚟自唔同文化背景嘅小朋友提供一個機會探索唔同文化，係咪好有意義呢🧡

Creating an inclusive society goes beyond just learning languages—it’s also about embracing and understanding different cultures! That’s why we organize a Cultural Intelligence Workshop every year. Through engaging activities and discussions, children from diverse cultural backgrounds have the opportunity to explore and appreciate different cultures. Isn’t that meaningful🧡
