احتفالًا بأحد أروع الاكتشافات الأثرية في العالم، تُطلق وزارة السياحة والآثار، ابتداءً من اليوم الموافق السادس من أكتوبر ولمدة ثلاثين يومًا، حملة على مواقعها بمنصات التواصل الاجتماعي المختلفة، تحت عنوان "١٠٠ عام توت عنخ آمون: آثار رائعة".

تهدف الحملة إلى التعريف ببعض القطع الأثرية المميزة التي اكتُشفت بمقبرة الملك الذهبي، كما تهدف الحملة كذلك لرفع الوعي السياحي والأثري لدى المواطنين وتعريفهم بأهمية هذا الاكتشاف العظيم الذي تم في ٤ نوفمبر ١٩٢٢ على يد عالم الآثار البريطاني هوارد كارتر. حيث تم نقل الآثار المكتشفة بمقبرة توت عنخ آمون حينذاك إلى المتحف المصري بالتحرير، ويجري الآن نقل هذه القطع تباعًا إلى المتحف المصري الكبير ليكون مكان عرضها الدائم، وتُعرض لأول مرة كاملة به.

وتنتهي الحملة بمؤتمر "ما وراء الأبدية: مؤتمر مئوية توت عنخ آمون" بالأقصر، والذي ينظمه مركز البحوث الأمريكي بمصر (ARCE) بالتعاون مع وزارة السياحة والآثار.




Celebrating one of the world’s most exciting discoveries, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities is launching a social media campaign on 6 October titled “100 Years Tutankhamun: Wonderful Things” on its platforms. The campaign is aimed at celebrating the funerary equipment retrieved from King Tutankhamun’s tomb by highlighing 30 masterpieces. It is also intended to raise awareness and educate the public on the importance of the discovery which took place on 4 November by British archaeologist Howard Carter in 1922.

These artefacts were moved from king Tutankhamun’s tomb in The Valley of the Kings to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, and they are now being moved to their new home at the Grand Egyptian Museum, where the whole collection will be displayed together for the 1st time.

The end of the campaign will also be marked by the three-day “Transcending Eternity: The Centennial Tutankhamun Conference” organized by the American Research Center in Egypt (ARCE) in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, in Luxor.
