For over a month now, the people of Hong Kong have been engaged in an aggressive campaign to force their chief executive .hksar to step down from her position. It began with a wildly unpopular bill she purposed that would give China the right to extradite suspected criminals (including activists) from Hong Kong to Beijing. Faced with mass demonstrations, Lam trashed the bill. But that wasn’t enough, activists demanded her resignation and this past week, they were nearly 2 million strong in the streets. Police are not a body of individuals, they are a social construct built around a racist ideology. The fact that these officers were able to pass a psychological evaluation and get hired at a department is proof of that. Until policing is reformed, there's no such thing as a "good cop"
