We all have the right to be ourselves and love who we wish. LGBTQ+ rights are important to Finland, and cities and municipalities all over the country will celebrate Pride during different weeks of the summer. Advancing LGBTQ+ rights is important also in Hong Kong!

Huge congratulations to Finland's men's ice hockey team "Leijonat"🦁 for winning the Ice Hockey World Championship 2026! You made us all proud. 🏒🇫🇮

As is tradition, Finns celebrated by gathering "torille" (to the nearest marketplace). We will try find a "tori" in Hong Kong and join the party!🎉

Hong Kong-based Finnish artist Riitta Kuisma is presenting works at the Affordable Art Fair through Artaflo Collective.

This year marks Riitta's 10th year residing in Hong Kong. Her work includes portrait, still life paintings and more than 100 mural paintings around Hong Kong.🖌️

Happy Europe Day!🇪🇺 Today is a celebration of European peace and cooperation. In Hong Kong, we took a head start in the form of yesterday’s Europe Day reception.

On this day we celebrate the common values of the European Union which each member country is committed to protect. In Hong Kong, Europe Day is an opportunity to connect with people and showcase EU’s diverse contributions.

Finland’s contributions through the EU are often intangible, such as our continued work toward peace and in combating climate change. But some things you can see – and taste – like our spruce shoot sparkling wine, perfect for a celebration!🍾😉
