Regarding the water pipe leakage on the slope of 12-30 Kai Yuen Street, with my close coordination, the Water Supplies Department (WSD) and the repair team commenced emergency overnight works at 23:16 last night (June 2) 🌙🛠️ to replace the connection joint. Thanks to their overnight efforts, this emergency operation was successfully completed at 06:00 AM early this morning (June 3) ✅, and fresh water supply has now fully resumed! 🌅💧

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the WSD and all frontline engineering personnel. We are deeply grateful for their swift response and immediate action in the shortest time possible, which successfully minimized the overall impact on our community and residents. Our heartfelt thanks also go to the team for their relentless efforts and perseverance throughout the night, ensuring that our residents could enjoy normal water supply by early this morning.

針對繼園街12-30號斜坡水管滲漏事宜，水務署工程人員已於昨晚6月1日深夜 23:00 準時展開夜間搶修。經通宵全力搶修，已於今日6月2日凌晨 01:45 順利完成整段水管的更換工程 ✅，並已全面恢復正常食水供應！

🔧 今晚工程後續安排：
在昨晚工程期間，工程人員發現政府接駁供水位的管件情況亦不理想。為了長遠保障供水安全、杜絕隱患，水務署將於今晚6月2日再度進行局部更換。

⚠️ 重要停水提示：
配合今晚的改善工程，停水將會從晚上 11:00 開始 🌙💧。由於工程涉及接駁位更換，具體恢復供水的時間將視乎工程實際進度而定 🛠️。

Regarding the water pipe leakage on the slope of 12-30 Kai Yuen Street, the WSD repair team commenced the overnight emergency works punctually at 23:00 last night (June 1). Thanks to their overnight efforts, the replacement of the entire section of the water pipe was successfully completed at 01:45 AM early this morning ✅, and fresh water supply has fully resumed!

🔧 Subsequent Optimization Works Tonight:
During last night's operation, technicians discovered that the governmental water supply connection joint was also not in ideal conditions. To ensure long-term water safety and prevent future leaks, the WSD will perform a localized replacement tonight (June 2).

⚠️ Important Water Suspension Reminder:
To facilitate tonight's optimization works, the water supply will be suspended starting from 11:00 PM tonight 🌙💧.

As the works involve replacing the connection joint, the exact time for water resumption will depend on the actual progress of the engineering works 🛠️.

臨時恢復供水 🚰：現時（16:30）已率先恢復食水供應，維持至今晚（6月1日）晚上 11:00 正。

深夜暫停供水 🌙：今晚深夜 11:00 至預計明早（6月2日）清晨 6:00 正，工程人員將會進行餘下的水管修復工程，屆時將會暫停食水供應。為了保障街坊在深夜工程期間的用水需要，現有的三個水缸會維持使用，直至明早恢復供水為止。有需要的居民隨時可以前往取水。

During today's urgent repair works, technicians discovered an additional leak at the bottom of the involved water pipe, which requires deeper rectification. To cater to our residents' needs for water tonight, I have coordinated with the WSD for a "temporary resumption before overnight repair" arrangement:

Temporary Resumption of Water Supply 🚰: Fresh water supply has now been temporarily resumed until 11:00 PM tonight (June 1).

Overnight Water Suspension 🌙: The remaining pipe repair works will be carried out from 11:00 PM tonight until approximately 6:00 AM tomorrow morning (June 2), during which fresh water supply will be suspended again. To support everyone during the overnight suspension, the three existing water tanks will remain in service until water supply is fully restored tomorrow morning. Affected residents may proceed to collect fresh water at any time.

根據水務署最新評估，預計供水將於今日（6月1日）傍晚時分逐步恢復正常 💧。

在停水期間，為解決居民的燃眉之急，東區關愛隊已即時出動 ，全力協助街坊前往臨時水箱取水，並於現場派發飲用樽裝水 。同時，我們更特別出動了「送水輝」 🚚💨 協助運送物資與食水，務求將對大家生活的影響減到最低。

Regarding the water pipe leakage 19:25-00:50 on the slope of 12-30 Kai Yuen Street reported last night (May 31), following the urgent follow-up and my close coordination, the Water Supplies Department (WSD) has commenced scaffolding and emergency repair works this morning (June 1) 🛠️🏗️. According to the latest assessment from the WSD, water supply is expected to be gradually resumed by this evening (June 1) 💧.

During this water suspension period, to address the immediate needs of our residents, the Eastern District Care Team has been mobilized 🧡 to assist neighbors in collecting water from the temporary water tank and distributing bottled drinking water on-site. Furthermore, our dedicated "Deliverer David" 🚚💨 has been deployed to facilitate the transport of water and supplies, aiming to minimize the inconvenience caused to your daily lives.

有關：繼園街12-30號斜坡水管滲漏引致緊急停水及供水安排
Subject: Urgent Water Interruption and Supply Arrangements at 12-30 Kai Yuen Street due to Pipe Leakage

2026年5月31日晚上卓兒接獲居民求助，指繼園街斜坡發生水管滲漏。卓兒即時通知水務署緊急維修部，水務署接報後已即時派員到場進行緊急檢查。由於滲漏情況嚴重，現時繼園街12-30號已實施緊急停水。

經初步查核，爆裂水管的位置雖屬私人業權範圍，但考慮到特殊情況，卓兒已即時採取應變措施，成功收集受影響居民的同意書，並和政府部門介入進行破例搶修。

由於斜坡上的搶修工程環境較為複雜，水務署預計於明天早上展開搶修工程，預計明天晚上前恢復正常供水，懇請各位街坊耐心體諒。

臨時取水安排：💧
水務署已於吉利樓附近設置臨時水缸，受影響的居民可前往上址取水備用。卓兒會密切跟進搶修進度，如有需要請致電6432 4282與本人聯絡。

I received a resident's complaint on May 31, 2026, regarding a water pipe leakage on the slope of Kai Yuen Street. The Water Supplies Department (WSD) has conducted an urgent inspection on-site. Due to the severity of the leak, an emergency water suspension is now in effect for 12-30 Kai Yuen Street.

Although the burst pipe is located within private property, considering the significant impact on residents, I have taken immediate action. Our office has successfully collected the consent forms from residents to facilitate the government's intervention for emergency repairs.

As the repair works on the slope are complicated, the WSD will make every effort to resume the water supply by tomorrow evening. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding.

Temporary Water Supply Arrangement: 💧
The WSD has deployed a temporary water tank near Gily Garden House. Affected residents may proceed there to collect fresh water. I will closely monitor the progress and keep you updated.

我們非常榮幸邀請到家庭醫學專科——林智源醫生擔任主講嘉賓。林醫生用深入淺出的專業角度，教導街坊什麼是肥胖的真正定義，並分享了如何在日常生活中建立可持續、健康的良好習慣。參與的街坊都紛紛表示獲益良多，學到實用的健康管理知識！ 🧑‍⚕️📝

Yesterday(5/30,16:30-17:30), together with Dr. Lam, from the Hong Kong College of Community Health Practitioners, we successfully hosted the "Overcoming Obesity & Embracing a Healthy Life" medical and health seminar at my office. The venue was packed, and our residents' response was absolutely fantastic! 🔥

We were deeply honored to have Dr. Lam, a specialist in Family Medicine, as our guest speaker. Dr. Lam used an accessible and professional approach to teach residents the true definition of obesity and shared how to establish sustainable, healthy daily habits. Everyone expressed that they benefited greatly and gained highly practical health management knowledge! 🧑‍⚕️📝

最緊要多謝的一班丹拿關愛隊的義工朋友！❤️ 在今日炎炎夏日、烈日當空之下，大家依然鍥而不捨、默默耕耘，滿頭大汗都堅守崗位，全心全意在社區前線為前來回收的市民服務。有您們這班無私奉獻的幕後功臣，社區才變得更加溫暖和美好！💪☀️

The weather was scorching today, but it couldn't dampen our neighborhood's passion for sustainable living! 🔥✨

This morning, the Tanner Services and Community Care Team volunteers and I host our "Clothing Recycling & Barter Exchange" event. The turnout was absolutely incredible! We were thrilled to see so many residents actively supporting by bringing clean, well-kept pre-loved clothes from home to our recycling station. This is what true "waste reduction at source and resource circulation" looks like! ♻️👏

Most importantly, a massive and heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to our wonderful Tanner Care Team volunteers! ❤️ Under the blazing summer sun, everyone remained tireless, dedicated, and deeply committed to serving the community.

Despite being drenched in sweat, you stayed at your posts with a smile, helping every resident who came by. It is your selfless contribution behind the scenes that makes our community so warm and beautiful! 💪☀️
