Arts Management Skills Training Programme 2026 - Open for Application

The Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC) is pleased to launch “Arts Management Skills Training Programme 2026” (the Programme). The Programme will explore a wide spectrum of topics related to “Digital Marketing” to equip participants with the fundamental skills in applying digital channels strategically for effective marketing. Eligible applicants will be selected to participate in the workshop(s) at a subsidised fee*. The workshop schedules are as follows:

上星期五，國際藝壇朋友匯聚威尼斯，一同見證第61屆威尼斯視藝雙年展外圍展「延音——香港在威尼斯」開幕。

【Poetic rhythms unfold】

“Fermata: Hong Kong in Venice” has officially opened!

Last Friday, we celebrated the opening of the exhibition “Fermata: Hong Kong in Venice”, a Collateral Event of the 61st International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, along with the international art community in Venice.

The Hong Kong Museum of Art and the Hong Kong Arts Development Council present the latest site-specific installations by Hong Kong artists Kingsley Ng and Angel Hui. Adopting the musical symbol “fermata” as the curatorial theme, the exhibition invites visitors from all over the world to slow down and reflect on the poetry and rhythms of everyday life.

「延音——香港在威尼斯」即將於三星期後揭幕，參展藝術家伍韶勁與許開嬌正各自專注於創作的最後階段。伍韶勁於夜幕下穿梭街角，收錄香港夜間聲音，化作聲音素材。許開嬌則走進鐵器舖，與傳統鐵器師傅合作，重塑隱藏於香港舊建築中的扭鐵窗花。兩人將以獨特角度展現城市的日常場景，將城市中所埋藏的細微感受重新呈現，構築一處寧靜空間，引領觀眾感受日常節奏，探尋自身步伐。

With just 3 weeks to go before the opening of “Fermata: Hong Kong in Venice”, artists Kingsley Ng and Angel Hui are putting the finishing touches on their works. Kingsley has captured the city’s night time soundscape to create a multisensory installation, while Angel has worked closely with local metalsmiths to create a wrought-iron window frame inspired by Hong Kong’s historic architecture. Their works reimagine everyday scenes and familiar moments overlooked in urban life, inviting audience to pause and reconnect the rhythms of the city.

【藝發局與釜山文化基金會簽署合作備忘錄深化文化交流】

香港藝術發展局（藝發局）於2026年3月24日與釜山文化基金會（Busan Cultural Foundation）簽署合作備忘錄。備忘錄由藝發局行政總裁曾淑儀女士 曾淑儀 Pheon Tsang 與釜山文化基金會行政總裁兼釜山國際表演藝術市場執行總監吳在煥先生（Oh Jaewhan）代表雙方簽署，並由兩機構代表共同見證。

備忘錄確立雙方至2029年的策略性夥伴關係，旨在建立長期合作框架，特別是HKPAX - Hong Kong Performing Arts Expo 香港演藝博覽與釜山國際表演藝術市場的互相合作，共同推動兩地的優秀演藝節目及人才的交流及發展。此一合作標誌着兩地演藝交流的新篇章，合作項目將為本地優秀藝術家及藝團提供國際展示平台，讓他們向更廣泛的觀眾展現才華、累積國際經驗並拓展合作機會，從而推動香港文化藝術的多元發展。

【HKADC Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Busan Cultural Foundation to Strengthen Cultural Ties】

On 24 March 2026, the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Busan Cultural Foundation (BSCF) at the HKADC office. The MoU was signed by Ms Pheon Tsang 曾淑儀 Pheon Tsang , Chief Executive of HKADC, and Mr Jaehwan Oh, CEO of BSCF and Executive Director of the Busan International Performing Arts Market, and was witnessed by representatives from both organisations.

The strategic partnership, effective through 2029, establishes a collaboration framework, particularly between HKPAX - Hong Kong Performing Arts Expo 香港演藝博覽 and Busan International Performing Arts Market (BPAM), to strengthen the exchange of outstanding productions and talents of the two cities. The MoU marks a new chapter in collaboration among HKADC, BSCF, HKPAX, and BPAM. We look forward to the outcomes of this vibrant cultural exchange.

These initiatives will provide Hong Kong artists and arts groups with enhanced international platforms to showcase their work, gain international experience, and explore new collaboration opportunities, thereby enriching Hong Kong’s cultural landscape.

香港藝術發展局「展藝館」全新展覽——許方華《稀釋成透明》於上週五正式開幕！

《稀釋成透明》將大眾習以為常的「辦公室」場域解構，轉化為一個「後人類時代」的異托邦。步入展廳，長達42米、由辦公椅重組而成的巨型動態裝置《我們小心養大的獸》懸浮於半空，伴隨模擬日夜交替的光影流轉，營造出極具張力的觀展體驗。

展覽即日起至4月19日開放。誠邀公眾親臨展藝館，在這個漂浮於虛構與現實的空間中，一起思考人類在「後人類時代」中對勞動、身分、與自身存在價值的重新想像。

Presented by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council SHOWCASE, The Lurking Void by Phoebe Hui officially opened last Friday !

The Lurking Void transforms familiar office equipment into a post-human heterotopia. Upon entering the SHOWCASE, visitors encounter the Vertebrate, a monumental 42-metre-long kinetic installation of reassembled office chairs, suspended in mid-air. Accompanied by shifting light and shadows that simulate the cycle of labour and rest, the work offers a highly compelling viewing experience.

The exhibition runs until 19 April. Members of the public are invited to visit the SHOWCASE to navigate this realm between fiction and reality, and to collectively reflect on the reimagining of human labour, identity, and the value of our existence in the "Post-Human Era".
