Have you ever thought about volunteering before, but never quite found the time? Maybe you’ve wondered if what you can offer is not enough.

The truth is, your commitment doesn’t have to be big, it doesn’t have to be perfect. Beginning the journey is enough.

Often, we step forward focusing on helping someone else, but along the way we discover we’re growing too.

We become a little more patient, a little more understanding, and a little more aware of how connected we all are.

有些環保工作，著眼於為人們締造一個更適合生活的世界。

而我們的出發點，稍有不同。

有大德曾說，改變始於給予人們空間與責任，讓他們親身去關心與守護環境，而不是單向地替他們改變環境。而環境責任的真正實踐，是從「人」開始。當一個人被尊重、被接納、被看見，他自然更願意為身邊的環境付出。啟發彼此的善意，以同理心對待身邊的人，是所有改變的根本。

正因如此，在聚沙成塔慈善團體（Unity One Charitable Association）及其團隊的帶領及支持下，賢聚（Unity V）得以成立，讓聚沙成塔與賢循環（V Cycle）的理念朝著同一方向同行。社區關懷與環境工作，不再分開，而是並肩實踐。

我們的工作不僅是創造就業機會或提升收入。這些固然重要，但我們更重視為長者提供一個有尊嚴、有參與感的空間，讓他們繼續發揮所長，繼續為社會作出貢獻。

今天，我們在屯門區學習派發素食餐予有需要的長者，並舉辦心靈與精神健康課程。與我們同行的長者，並非單純的受惠者。他們帶來人生經驗、耐心與智慧，而我們在相處之中學習同理與慈悲。這是一份雙向的同行。在付出的同時，我們也在成長。幫助別人，其實也是在成就自己。

因為當人被賦予尊嚴與責任，守護環境及關心他人，便會成為自然的選擇。真正長遠的改變，始終從人開始。

Many environmental efforts focus on creating a better world for people to live in.

Our starting point is slightly different.

As spiritual teachers often remind us, real change begins within. Environmental responsibility, in its truest form, begins with people. It starts with inspiring goodness in one another and treating every person around us with empathy and compassion. When individuals feel valued and included, they naturally become stewards of the world around them.

With the guidance and support of Unity One Charitable Association and their dedicated team, Unity V was formed by bringing together the visions of Unity One and V Cycle under a shared purpose. Environmental work and community care stand side by side.

Our focus goes beyond creating jobs or increasing income. While those matter, we are equally committed to restoring dignity and inclusion for our elders.

Today, this includes distributing plant‑based meals and offering spiritual and mental wellness classes. More importantly, it means creating space for our elders to contribute. They are not just beneficiaries; they bring experience, patience, and perspective. In return, we learn empathy and compassion. This mutual exchange strengthens all of us. Helping others ultimately helps ourselves.

When people are empowered and valued, care for the environment follows naturally.
That is where lasting change truly begins.

Six years with LUSH, since April 2020 💚

We’re truly grateful to partner with a brand that keeps sustainability at the core of what they do.

There’s something meaningful about creating recycled products together, from initial concept through to development. Take this apron, for example. It’s made from recycled plastic, with yarn produced at our GRS-certified factory in Suzhou ♻️

Over the next two years, we’ll be rolling out several new initiatives, including Hong Kong’s first closed-loop programme with LUSH.

V Cycle 聯同中國香港新興運動協會（NESA），較早前於鑽石山荷里活廣場舉行的匹克球比賽現場，共同設立 「匹克球回收站」。 該回收站之板材採用回收塑膠再製而成，將環保理念融入運動賽事之中。 誠邀大家一同支持減廢，由球場做起！

V Cycle teamed up with NESA (China Hong Kong Newly Emerged Sports Association) to build a Pickleball Recycling Station at their pickleball competition in Hollywood Plaza, Diamond Hill in early Apr. The station’s panels are made from recycled plastic sheets — turning waste into courtside action! Play hard, waste less.

The ocean faces critical threats from plastic waste, coral bleaching, and warming waters, but at V Cycle, we see waste as an opportunity for transformation. This summer, through our R.I.S.E. Initiative, we are proud to partner with KOSÉ SEKKISEI’s SAVE the BLUE campaign to take meaningful action.

Every recycled SEKKISEI, INFINITY, or ONE BY KOSÉ bottle collected V Cycle at KOSÉ counters in Hong Kong and Macau reduces landfill waste, prevents ocean pollution, create meaningful sorting jobs for the underprivileged and supports the planting of over 20,000 super corals in Okinawa to restore marine ecosystems.
