🐶🐈《寵愛一生 同遊科學園2026》｜☕💛 從一杯奶茶開始的成長課

原來，我也可以做到。

「今日想飲咩呀？」
「呢杯奶茶係我哋親手沖㗎！」

對很多人來說，這可能只是一次普通的市集活動；但對荷蘭宿舍的宿生而言，卻是一個難忘的成長機會。

感謝「動物守護社區大使計劃」邀請，讓我們於2026年5月9日參與香港科學園舉行的「寵愛一生🐶🐈 同遊科學園2026」。

活動當日，宿生親身經營體驗式學習攤位，售賣奶茶、柚子梳打、曲奇、鬆餅及燒賣。從設計餐牌、準備產品、招待顧客到銷售記帳，每一個環節都由他們親自參與。

有宿生特意編寫分單及記帳應用程式；亦有兩位應屆DSE宿生利用課餘時間到茶餐廳學習沖調港式奶茶，只為將最好的一杯奶茶送到顧客手中。☕💪

活動中，他們學習與人溝通、團隊合作及應變技巧，更主動構思「送餐服務」，希望為現場參加者帶來更好的體驗。

最珍貴的收穫，不是賣出了多少產品，而是當聽到一句「好飲呀！」、「辛苦晒你哋！」時，孩子臉上的笑容與自信。✨

感謝一直陪伴和支持宿生成長的動物守護社區大使計劃、Cookie Smiles、廉記冰室、社工團隊、合作夥伴及義工朋友，讓孩子有機會被看見、被肯定，並在真實的社區環境中學習與成長。

因為每一次機會，都可能成為改變人生的一小步。💛

🐶🐈✨ Learning Beyond the Classroom | ☕💛 A Lesson in Growth, Starting with a Cup of Milk Tea

What does growth look like?

Sometimes, it begins with a cup of milk tea, a homemade menu, or simply the courage to speak to a customer for the first time.

Thanks to the invitation from the Animal Watchers Programme, residents from Holland Hostel had the opportunity to participate in a pet-themed community event at Hong Kong Science Park on 9 May 2026.

At the event, our residents operated an experiential learning booth serving milk tea, yuzu soda, siu mai, cookies, and muffins. Behind the booth was weeks of preparation and teamwork. One resident developed an ordering and accounting app specially for the event, while two DSE students spent their free time learning how to make Hong Kong-style milk tea so they could proudly serve customers on the day. ☕💪

Throughout the event, the residents took charge of customer service, sales, teamwork, and problem-solving. They even introduced their own delivery service, bringing food and drinks directly to visitors around the venue.

With every customer they greeted, every challenge they overcame, and every encouraging comment they received, they gained confidence, responsibility, and belief in their own abilities.

We are grateful to the Animal Watchers Programme, Cookie Smiles, Lim Kee Bing Sutt, our social workers, volunteers, and supporters for creating opportunities that allow young people to step beyond the classroom, discover their strengths, and connect with the community.

💛🏆《寄養家庭服務奬2026頒獎典禮》｜乘愛高飛・邁向豐盛四十五載

社會福利署聯同十一間營辦寄養服務的機構，於2026年5月17日假龍堡國際賓館胡應湘宴會廳舉辦兩年一度《寄養家庭服務奬2026頒獎典禮》，以「乘愛高飛・邁向豐盛四十五載」為主題，向一眾長年默默守護孩子成長的寄養家庭致敬。💛

本會今年共有七個寄養家庭獲頒長期服務奬，共同見證這份珍貴榮耀。當中：
🏆 2位寄養家長獲頒「至尊奬」，服務超過20年
💎 1位寄養家長獲頒「鑽石奬」
🥈 1位寄養家長獲頒「銀奬」
🥇 3位寄養家長獲頒「金奬」
每一份獎項背後，都是多年來無私付出、陪伴與守護孩子成長的故事。✨

此外，本會服務超過15年並獲頒「鑽石奬」的梁太，更參與拍攝「乘愛高飛・邁向豐盛四十五載」宣傳影片，分享作為寄養家長一路走來的點滴與感受。梁太現時照顧兩位寄養兒童，多年來以愛建立家庭，陪伴孩子走過成長的重要階段，令人深受感動。❤️

寄養不只是照顧，更是一份長久同行的承諾。感謝每一位寄養家庭一直以愛守護孩子，讓他們在人生路上感受到溫暖與希望。

💛🏆 Foster Families Service Award Presentation Ceremony 2026 | “On Wings of Love We Soar Above: Towards 45 Flourishing Years”

The Social Welfare Department, together with eleven NGOs operating foster care services, held the Foster Families Service Award Presentation Ceremony 2026 on 17 May 2026 at Gordon Wu Hall, BP International. Under the theme “On Wings of Love We Soar Above: Towards 45 Flourishing Years,” the ceremony honored foster families for their long-standing dedication and selfless care for children. 💛

This year, seven foster families from HKSAS received Long Service Awards:
🏆 2 foster parents received the Supreme Award for over 20 years of service
💎 1 foster parent received the Diamond Award
🥈 1 foster parent received the Silver Award
🥇 3 foster parents received the Gold Award

Behind every award is a heartfelt story of commitment, companionship, and unconditional love for children in need. ✨

We are also proud that Mrs. Leung, a foster parent who has served for over 15 years and received the Diamond Award, participated in the promotional video of the campaign.
She shared her journey, joys, and experiences as a foster parent while caring for two foster children through different stages of their growth. ❤️

Foster care is more than providing a home, it is a long-term commitment to walk alongside children with love and support. We sincerely thank every foster family for helping children grow with warmth, stability, and hope.

🍪✨ HKIS 邀請本會宿生參與「Fun & Learning Day」

感謝 Hong Kong International School (HKIS) 邀請本會兒童之家及賽馬會馬可紀念之家宿生到校參與 Fun & Learning Day。活動於 2026年2月7日（星期六）舉行，是次共有 17 位宿生 參與，在安全、友善而充滿學習氛圍的校園中，體驗不一樣的學習與互動，擴闊視野，收穫滿滿。

🍪 烘焙學習：動手完成屬於自己的作品
活動由曲奇烘焙課展開，由 HKIS 學生帶領宿生從量度、攪拌到裝飾一步步完成。宿生全程投入，親手製作曲奇，建立自信與成就感。

🍕 溫暖午餐：學生親手製作薄餅
HKIS 學生特別準備午餐，親手製作薄餅與宿生分享。在輕鬆交流中，讓孩子感受到被歡迎與被照顧的溫度。

🏀 校園體驗：運動與互動並重
午餐後，宿生於操場進行籃球及乒乓球活動，在歡笑與跑動中釋放活力，並在學生陪伴下更自在融入校園。

🤝 互動遊戲：建立連結與信任
透過遊戲與創意活動，宿生與學生在互動中建立默契與信任，現場充滿笑聲與正能量。

是次活動不僅讓宿生體驗國際校園生活，更是一個探索、學習與建立自信的寶貴機會 ✨

🍪✨ HKIS Fun & Learning Day | Campus Experience × Baking Workshop

Our heartfelt thanks to Hong Kong International School (HKIS) for inviting residents from our Small Group Home and Jockey Club Mark Memorial Home to join their Fun & Learning Day. The event was held on 7 February 2026 (Saturday), a total of 17 residents participated, experiencing a welcoming and engaging international school environment.

🍪 Baking Workshop: Hands-on Learning
The day started with a cookie baking session led by HKIS students. From measuring to decorating, residents were fully engaged and proudly completed their own creations.

🍕 A Thoughtful Lunch
HKIS students prepared and baked pizza for everyone, creating a warm and relaxed setting for sharing and conversation.

🏀 Campus Activities
Residents enjoyed sports like basketball and table tennis, exploring the campus while having fun and staying active.

🤝 Games & Interaction
Through interactive games and activities, residents and students built connection, trust, and shared plenty of laughter.

This meaningful experience gave our residents a chance to explore, learn, and grow in a new environment ✨

🏀✨ Strive Foundation x HKSAS 籃球訓練活動

今年我們再次與 Strive Foundation ，延續去年的運動訓練安排，讓宿生在專業教練帶領下提升體能與培養運動興趣。

活動於 2026年4月25日（星期六）於荷蘭宿舍舉行，共有來自荷蘭宿舍、石壁宿舍、兒童之家及賽馬會馬可紀念之家的 23位宿生參與。內容包括籃球訓練、體能訓練及運動知識分享，充實而具啟發性。

是次特別邀請到奧運劍擊金牌得主張家朗的體能教練盧永君（William）及香港青年籃球員梁嘉顯（Marco）親自帶領，透過專業示範與系統化訓練，讓宿生學習正確技巧，同時認識運動員的態度與紀律。

活動結合挑戰與趣味，宿生積極投入，逐步建立自信與團隊精神。現場更為新參加者送上籃球🏀，並為所有參加者準備運動護目鏡作鼓勵。活動後，宿生更踴躍與教練合照📸及索取簽名✍🏻，氣氛熱鬧！🤝

🏀✨ Strive Foundation x HKSAS Basketball Training Session
We are delighted to partner again with Strive Foundation this year, continuing last year’s training program to help our residents build fitness and develop an interest in sports under professional coaching.

The session was held on 25 April 2026 (Saturday) at Holland Hostel, with 23 residents from Holland Hostel, Island Hostel, Small Group Home, and Jockey Club Mark Memorial Home participating. The program included basketball training, fitness exercises, and sports knowledge sharing.

We were honored to have William Lo, strength & conditioning coach of Olympic gold medalist Cheung Ka Long, and Marco Leung Ka Hin , Hong Kong youth basketball player, leading the session. Through structured training and demonstrations, residents learned proper techniques and gained insight into athletes’ discipline and mindset.

The session was both fun and challenging, encouraging participation, teamwork, and confidence-building. New participants received a basketball 🏀, while all participants were given sports goggles as encouragement. After the session, residents eagerly took photos📸 and asked for autographs✍🏻, creating a lively and memorable atmosphere 🤝✨

🌍✨ Opening Horizons Youth Global Learning Fund 2026 | Open the World to a Young Person

Every young person deserves the chance to step beyond their current environment, explore the world, discover their potential, and imagine a broader future.

For youth under the care of HKSAS, overseas learning and cultural exposure are not easily within reach. The Opening Horizons Youth Global Learning Fund 2026 aims to raise funds to support underprivileged youth in joining overseas learning experiences, covering program fees, flights, accommodation.

For years, HKSAS has partnered with Bodwell Summer Programs to send residents to Vancouver for overseas learning. These experiences help broaden horizons while building confidence, independence, and a clearer sense of future possibilities. ✈️ This is more than a journey.
