EXCURSION ON PASJAÄA BEACH
PasjaÄa beach near Dubrovnik is one of the most stunning beaches on the Adriatic. This sandy beach is in the Konavle region, only 30km from Dubrovnik.
The beach isn't a natural one. It was formed during World War Two when tunnels were dug in surrounding villages and the surplus stones then created a beach. The sea wore down the stones and made a beautiful beach which shyly emerges from the giant Konavle cliffs. Unfortunately, the beach is disappearing because the sea is eroding the sand. For that reason, if you don't visit soon, you
probably won't ever see it - unless someone unloads a new lot of stone. You reach the beach by steep steps on the cliff side and at parts will pass through dug out tunnels.

born in KorÄula, his house of birth is definitely worth the visit.
The whole island is covered with beautiful beaches within the astonishing nature. People are friendly; they are famous as the best Croatian singers. Don't be surprised if you hear them singing traditional a capella songs somewhere in the streets or in the restaurant. On our way to KorÄula, we are passing through the PeljeÅ”ac peninsula, which is one of the largest Croatian vineyard areas, homeland of famous DingaÄ wine.
