In the Austrian pilot action of the LOCALIENCE project, the companies flow engineering and JR-AquaConSol developed an operational early flood warning system on behalf of the Styrian provincial government. 🌧️📡
The system links various measurement data and calculation models to forecast runoff, spatially distributed water depths, and flow velocities in flood areas. These forecasts enable early detection of flood risks and support targeted planning of measures in case of a disaster. 🌊⚠️
